A few weeks ago we went with our friends
to see some butterflies at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens.
It was a perfect day to have some adventures.

Here are the boys running free through a big
open field. They had a great time, though
I'm not sure they had as much fun as we did
watching our boys be boys.

Love it!

Paradise Found!

This past weekend my high school friends and I
found paradise! We went to the beach at
Tricia's mom's beach house aka the best beach house ever
and it was a dream!

You can read what Ellen said about it. Don't miss
the "you look so cute" story...that was my favorite from
the weekend!

Here we are enjoying the beach...

(The truth is I was slightly dying because
we got more than we bargained for asking a lady
on the beach to take our picture. She took about 850
pictures and reminded us the whole time that we were
very lucky b/c she "never works for free". It must
have been our lucky day!)

We rode our pink and orange bikes all
over the place! This one is called Tangerine
dream... and it was amazing.

Then back to the beach for some late afternoon
sun... really shade b/c we had these fun chairs and umbrellas
just for us. Having trouble loading that one... will post
in a separate post!

What a fun and refreshing time we had!

School Days

Last week we had a new first around here...
the first day of school!
Evan is going to a local program 2 mornings a week.
Here he is finishing breakfast before his first day.

Here are just two of my attempts at a
"first day of school picture" with his
tiny backpack on.

Here he is in his classroom, oblivious that other
people are around. He has his little car, and that
was quite enough! He did great and seems to
like it so far! We're proud of our little student!

Still working on their relationship...

I'm sure many of you have silently wondered,
"I wonder...how are Gus and Evan doing these days?"
Well, their relationship is still a work in progress,
but here are a few pictures of these two lately...

You will probably notice that one of them is happier than
the other. Its not exactly an equal relationship. But it is
progress!
